Family and the Falls

Here are some fun pics from the last few months of when I was in Boise and my siblings and their families came to see me here in Twin Falls. You will notice a pattern.......
I spent a week in Boise with Chele and her three girls, here is fun pic of us at the park. We are so cute if I do say so myself.

So we went swimming and I was holding Kinley when I looked over and saw this and it reminded me so much of Chele and I when we were younger I had to take a picture. I bet they were solving world problems.

Kinley, taking a little nap after a hard day of swimming- sounded good to me.

Brad and Sha and family came to see me over Memorial Day so I took them to Shosone Falls, thanks for the fun visit.

Ryan and Kristy and Family came to see me in June so again we had to go see Shosone Falls!!

I kept Ryan and Kristy's kids overnight and the next day we went hiking to see some other falls, so here we are... we are so cute.

Mom and Dad came to see me the end of June and of course another trip to the falls was in order, now I know where all of us get our good looks from!!!!

Here is a pic from the 4th of July weekend also, the parade was lots of fun... can't you tell.
Okay  so there are a few pics of my wonderful  and fun visits from my family over the last few months. It was fun to have everyone here and show them a little of the town. We had a little mini family reunion over the 4th of July so I will have to post some of those pics later.  It has been a great, hot summer and I look forward to the rest of the family coming so I can take their pics at Shosone Falls. Enjoy August!!!

Update

Well, as usual it has been over a month since I last posted, slacker that I am. Well over the last month and a half lots of things have happened. My peeps came to see me again- I have to admit I have the coolest friends ever, we went to Boise, did some shopping, lots of catching up, and went to a hockey game-Go Steelheads- right I think that is the name of the team. It was tons of fun and I always love to have company. I have been home a few times and always enjoy seeing my family. My nieces and nephews continue to grow and enjoy life. I miss the day to day things but I love that they are always so excited to see me. My two youngest munchkins are growing and are the cutest babies ever, I have to say I have adorable relatives.... man we are cute. I don't have any pics of them sorry- I keep forgetting to take my camera. Also my cousin Deanna left on her mission and is doing well. My grandmother just celebrated her birthday this last week and I surprised her by showing up for the day-it was a grand surprise if I do say so myself. I also had another friend-Gina stop by and chat for a few hours so that was tons of fun. Here in Twin Falls things are going pretty good, I continue to have new clients, but never know what Medicaid is going to do so who knows if I will be here in six months or not, love the gypsy life style. I continue to help with Sunbeams and just recently got called to help with the cub scouts in the ward. My bishopric is pretty cool and I can tell they truly care about me and I really appreciate it. Over the last 3 weeks I participated in a Boot Camp thing and it totally kicked my trash but it has been great to meet some new people and have something to do after work. One of my best friends from high school is getting married two weeks from tomorrow and I am super excited for her and am way excited to attend her sealing in the Draper Temple, I have never been to that temple so it will be a cool experience. Well, this is kinda of a boring post-no pictures but it is just an update. Easter, family baptisms, friends, wedding, and fun times are always ahead of me so never fear more adventure still awaits me. My only complaint is the weather... will spring ever be here?

Scrapbooking Weekend- Visitors

So a couple of weekends ago we had a scrapbooking party at my house. Two of my sisters, my sister-in-law and 10 of munchkins came to see me. Here are some pics of our weekend. It was great to see all of them and to show them a little of Twin Falls. We went out to dinner, went shopping (thanks for being good sports Josh and Carson), did a little fashion show, played on the play ground, went hot tubing, and of course did some scrapbooking. It was wonderful to have them all come to see me. Thanks for the great weekend.

We played hide and seek and Carson hid under the steps and Josh was it, here is a cute picture of Josh locating Carson.

So a few weeks ago I went on a grand adventure with my fabulous cousin, Deanna to Philadelphia and Washington DC. We went for about a week total and had lots of fun. I have never been to Philly so it was great to go and I always love seeing Derek's family so it was a double bonus. Here are a few pics of our adventures. We actually started out in Philly and then went to DC but I accidentally did the pics in the wrong order but I am lazy so you get to start at the end and go backwards.
Lincoln Monument Me, Deanna, Abigail, and Andrew in front of the DC Temple

Abigail and me walking in DC.

The Men-Andrew and Derek in DC.

Derek and April's 5 munchkins and me. Love the sun glasses and yes Ember is giving me bunny ears.

Me at the Old Tavern in Philly where we ate dinner one night, it was tons of fun. I am pointing to my dinner selection- Martha Washington's Pot Pie- it was very yummy. Notice my cute, warm head band- Kimi made it, I was very grateful to have it with me to keep my ears warm and of course look adorable at the same time.

Japanese Bridge over Lily Pad Pond by Claude Monet- at the Museum of Art

Deanna walking down the oldest street in Philly

Here is my Philly Cheese Steak- now I can say I have eaten one and it was pretty good.

This is the room at Independence Hall where our nation declared its independence and wrote the constitution. Being in this room gave me chills and it was amazing to think what came out of this room.

Well, as many of you know I am huge fan of George Washington- my hero- actually anyway this chair at Independence Hall is where he sat when the constitution was written and yes folks it is the actually chair-- do you have goose bumps, because I do.

Liberty Bell- So there was this T-shirt at a shop that had this picture on it and said "Come to Philly for the Crack" Love it.

Again George Washington fan and so we visited Valley Forge and walked forever, but it was really cool and cold. I was kinda glad I went during the winter because that is when these men were here and it just made it seem more realistic.

The arc honoring those at Valley Forge and individuals that served and serve in the military. (Yes it is after the Arc de trimphone in Paris- fitting I thought)

So there is a little overview of my fun trip. It was cold but wonderful. It was fun to spend time with Deanna and my family. Thanks for the great memories Deanna- and the trail mix or we would have been starving on all of our flights!!
